All female fittings are screwed to all male couplings or tubes plumbing nipple of the same size.
Elbow male female 90° specificities:

Thread type:
The thread type is BSP (British Standard Pipe) Whitworth.
The female thread type on the classic threaded fittings is BSPT (tapered), on the deco threaded fittings is BSPP (straight) and the male thread is BSPT tapered DIN EN 10226 formerly ISO 7-1.
