Description
This fitting differs from other nipples or double threaded pipes in that the thread is straight and not tapered along the entire length (not tapered). BSPP thread ISO 228).
It is used to connect two female BSPP straight threaded fittings against each other.

The thread type is BSP (British Standard Pipe) Whitworth.
The female thread type on the classic threaded fittings is BSPT (tapered), on the deco threaded fittings is BSPP (straight) and the male thread is BSPT tapered DIN EN 10226 formerly ISO 7-1.
