The left-hand thread must be used with a tube or male nipple with left and right-hand threads available here.
Please note that all fittings have a right-hand thread, unless specified otherwise, such as this one, which has a classic right-hand thread on one side and a left-hand thread on the other, which must be combined with a left-hand male thread.
For ease of use we have created the 2 union kits.
The same model is available in a standard version with two traditional right-hand threads.

Thread type:
The thread is BSP (British Standard Pipe) Whitworth.
The female thread on standard screw-on fittings is BSPT (tapered); on decorative and designer screw-on fittings, it is BSPP (straight); and the male thread is BSPT (tapered) per DIN EN 10226, formerly ISO 7-1.
