Description
Reduced cast iron tee used to connect a fitting of one size to a smaller female fitting.
 
All female fittings screw onto all male connectors or tubes double-threaded plumbing nipple the same size.
 
Reducing T-fitting specifications:
    • Material: cast iron
    • Sizes: 1/2″ (15/21), 3/4″ (20/27), 1″ (26/34), and 1 1/4″ (33/42)
    • Uses: Decorative and plumbing (DVGW and SVGW certified)
    • Thread: BSPT (tapered)
 

DIY Implementation and finishing

Thread type:

The thread type is BSP (British Standard Pipe) Whitworth.
The female thread type on the classic threaded fittings is BSPT (tapered), on the deco threaded fittings is BSPP (straight) and the male thread is BSPT tapered DIN EN 10226 formerly ISO 7-1.
