How to dismantle a bulb socket?
E27 and E14 bulb sockets are easy to install for restoring or creating lamps and lighting fixtures.
These are fitted with a small metal tab that secures the socket to prevent unintentional unscrewing.
In order to dismantle the socket, please take the appropriate precautions by removing the power plug or if it is connected to the infrastructure, please lower the fuse that connects it and check that it is no longer supplied with voltage ⚡.
Using a flathead screwdriver, push the metal safety tab inside the socket where the bulb is located.
Once the tab has been pushed in, the socket can now be unscrewed.
Warning: before screwing the socket back in, it is essential to lift the tab to reset the safety device.

Room for improvement: Hello. Your product drawings are missing dimensioned parts, as required by industrial design standards. For example, I was expecting a 10 mm diameter thread with a “1 mm fine pitch” for the fastener. Yes, but there are three different fine pitches for a 10 mm diameter. And, of course, yours doesn’t match. Finally, by forcing it, I was able to secure the sleeve. The fact that the sleeve is held in place by a spring-loaded tab makes it difficult to remove. At the very least, this should be noted. It’s a shame that today’s instruction manuals are nothing more than “picture books” with comments like: “My product is great; it’s exactly as you dreamed it would be.”
